3.2.4 Types of Connectors

Please refer to "Types of Connectors" in the Installation Manual of the KX-NS1000 PBX. The connector type
for the Trunk Adaptor is RJ45.

3.2.5 Placing the Trunk Adaptor on a Desktop

When placing the Trunk Adaptor on a desktop, make sure to follow these instructions.
WARNING
Be careful not to drop any components. Dropping components may damage them or cause an
injury.
CAUTION
•
When the Trunk Adaptor is placed on a desktop, make sure that it is placed as indicated in the diagram
below. Do not place it on its side or upside down.

When placing the Trunk Adaptor on a desktop, be sure to run the cables on the side of the Trunk
Adaptor. Do not run the cables on top or under it. The following illustrations are bad examples of cable
wiring.

3.2.6 Wall Mounting

The Trunk Adaptor can be mounted on a concrete wall using the wall-mounting equipment (screws, washers).
WARNING

Make sure that the wall that the Trunk Adaptor will be attached to is strong enough to support
the Trunk Adaptor (approx. 500 g). If not, it is necessary for the wall to be reinforced.
