Clean the Scanner and Rollers
Replace the Pick Up Roller
Cause
The Pick Up Roller has been used over
5,000 times.
The Scan to FTP/SFTP profile, Scan to
Network profile or Scan to E-mail Server
is not configured correctly.
The machine was disconnected from the
Scan to FTP/SFTP profile, Scan to
Network profile or Scan to E-mail Server.
Adding a new shortcut was attempted
while the Setting Lock was turned on.
The security settings is incorrect.
An unusable device is inserted in the USB
port.
The USB flash drive was removed while it
was being accessed.
A USB flash drive with a hub is inserted in
the USB port.
The inserted USB flash drive is write-
protected.
The Network Key is incorrect.
The password entered in Setting Lock
was incorrect.

drive, press Close, and then do one of
the following:
Turn the USB flash drive's write-
protection off, and then try again.
Use a USB flash drive that is not write-
protected.
Confirm the Network Key and try again.
Enter the correct password. If you forgot
it, you must reset it.
