Fusing Unit Removal

1. Open the top cover.
cartridge to protect it from light or place it in a dark area.
Remove the control panel. (Refer to page 3-10.)

Remove the paper cover

Remove the right cover and left cover. (Refer to pages 3-11 and 3-12.)
4.
Remove the top cover. (Refer to pages 3-11 and 3-12.)
5.
Remove the rear frame. (Refer to 3-13.)
6.
Disconnect the connector for the thermistor in the fusing unit, the connector
7.
for the paper exit sensor, and CN4 on the power supply board (PWB-E).
Remove 2 CP(O) (M3 x 6) screws on the fusing unit, and remove the fusing
8.
unit.
