6.5 AIRPORT APPROACH PAGE

The Airport Approach Page (Figure 6-16) shows the
available approach procedures for the selected airport.
Where multiple initial approach fixes (IAFs) and feeder
routes are available, that information may also be
displayed. A map image provides a layout diagram for
each approach and transition.

Scrolling through the available approaches
and transitions:
Press the small right knob to activate the

cursor.
Turn the large right knob to place the cursor

on the approach (APR) procedure name field
(Figure 6-16).

Turn the small right knob to display a window
of available approaches for the selected airport
(Figure 6-17). Continue turning the small right
knob to select the desired approach.

Press the ENT Key. The cursor moves to the

transitions (TRANS) field.

Turn the small right knob to display a window
of available transitions (Figure 6-18). Continue
turning the small right knob to select the
desired transition or select 'VECTORS' for
guidance only along the final course segment
of the approach.

Press the ENT Key. To remove the flashing
cursor, press the small right knob.
