Attaching a Wall Box to a Wall Stud
To attach a wall box to wood, use four #8 or #10 screws or 10-penny nails. A
minimum of 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) of screw threads must penetrate the wood.
To attach a wall box to metal, use four #8 or #10 self-tapping sheet metal screws or
machine bolts with matching nuts.
If using a mounting bracket, follow the directions included with the bracket to attach
the clips that fasten the bracket to the wall or furniture.
NOTE: Cable and test the HUB4 before mounting it to the wall box, mounting
bracket, or furniture.

If the HUB4 is mounted to a wall box or mounting bracket, it must first be mounted into
an AAP or MAAP mounting frame, such as the Extron AAP 102 or CPM101 listed at
www.extron.com
.
Follow the steps below to mount the HUB4 into the appropriate size mounting frame.
