3.1 Main body section
3.1.1 Removing the top cover (See Figure 1)
(1) Remove the four screws A attaching the top cover on both
sides of the main unit.
(2) Remove the three screws B attaching the top cover on the
rear side of the main unit.
(3) Slide the top cover approx.10mm in the rear direction.
Open the right side slightly, and lift the top cover to remove
it.
Note:
Sliding the top cover in the rear direction may damage the in-
ternal wires.
3.1.2 Removing the front panel assembly (See Figure 2, Figure 3)
• Prior to the following procedure, remove the top cover.
(1) Disconnect the card wire from each connector CN41,
CN42, and CN43 on the main board.
(2) Disconnect the card wire from the connector
SCART terminal board.
(3) Remove one screw C attaching the DVD mechanism cover
and the lug wire.
(4) Remove the three screws D and two screws E attaching
the front panel assembly on the bottom side of the main
body.
(5) Remove one hook a, and remove the front panel assembly
in the front direction.
