3.1.4 Removing the DVD mechanism assembly (See Figure 6, Figure 7, Figure 8)
• Prior to the following procedure, remove the top cover, the
front panel assembly, and the hard disc control board.
(1) Remove the three screws I attaching the DVD mechanism
cover.
(2) The three connectors on the DVD servo control board are
directly connected to the connectors on the main board.
While lifting the rear part of the DVD mechanism assembly,
disconnect the connector from each connector CN801,
CN513, and CN614 on the main board.
(3) Turn the DVD mechanism assembly upside down, and re-
move the three screws J. Then, remove the DVD mecha-
nism cover.
