NON-SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
TESTING INSTRUMENTS
You may use 2 instruments to check the
electric components.
1. A Continuity Light.
2. An Ohm Meter.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Too much humidity inside the
cabinet.
Holding product too long.
Vent not set properly.
No water in pan.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Faulty blower.
Display not indicating correct
temperature.
One of the heaters defective.
Doors being left open too much.
Door gaskets torn or worn.
Defective high limit on one of
heaters.
Faulty control.
Faulty blower.
Cabinet temperature exceeds
hi-limit range.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Faulty blowers.
Faulty fuse. (If unit is
equipped with fuse)
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Empty water from the water pan.
Hold product for recommended time.
Set vents per recommended procedure.
Remove pan and put in approximately
1" of hot water.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check blower and replace if necessary.
Check cabinet temperature with a ther-
mometer. If the temperature is within

with the calibration procedure. If more
than 10

Check heater and replace if necessary.
Only open doors as necessary.
Replace door gasket.
Check high limit, replace if necessary.
If heat LED stays on past setpoint
temperature, try to re-initialize the
controls. If that fails, replace control.
Check blower and replace if necessary.
To reset , turn power switch OFF and
then ON.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check blower and replace if necessary.
Check fuse and replace if necessary.
When the manual refers to the circuit being
open, the continuity light will not illuminate or
the ohm meter will read 1 or infinite resistance.
NOTE: A continuity tester cannot be used to
check coils.
