Create the Message
After addressing your message, you need to create your
message. You may compose a new message to be sent,
send a message that you have sent previously or send a
pre-programmed message that you have saved in "My
Phone Messages" on nextel.com.
Compose New

From the "Create Message" screen, scroll to
highlight "Compose New" and press o under
"OK".

Use T9 Text Input ("word" mode) to type a new message to your
intended recipient. (See "Using T9
Press o under "Send" when finished.

Sent

From the "Create Message" screen, scroll to
highlight "Sent" and press o under "OK".
Your phone keeps a record of the last 9 messages
you have sent from your phone. You will see a
list of each previously sent message on your
screen.
• Press o under "Save?" to save a highlighted
"Sent" message as a choice under "My Messages" or "My Replies".
Press o under "OK" at the "Message Saved" screen.
Scroll to highlight the desired message. Press o under "OK".

• You may add to or modify the message by typing in the appropriate
text entry mode (word, alpha, NUM, SYM) if desired.
Press o under "Send" to send the message.
