Using Address Book Online

Contacts
You can add contacts to your Nextel Address Book individually, or you may
import contacts from your Nextel Account or from Microsoft Outlook
Adding Contacts
To add contacts to Address Book:

Click Add in the sub-navigation bar. A record entry form will be dis-
played.

Enter the contact information in the appropriate fields.
NOTE: Last Name or Company Name is required to save a contact
record.

Click save to save the entry.
Entry Fields
The following is a brief description of the contact record entry fields.
Category: See the section "Grouping Contacts" on page 97 for instructions on
creating Categories. To add a contact to a Category, click the drop-down box,
highlight the appropriate category and continue to enter contact information.
Name and Company Information: Last Name or Company Name is required.
All other fields are optional.
Contact Numbers: Enter up to six phone numbers for your contacts — and if
you need more room, additional numbers can be entered in the custom fields.
Select one number to be the "primary" number — the number that will appear
on the Address Book home page. To designate the primary number, click the
button to the left of the desired phone number.
"Click to" allows you to add a particular contact or
group of contacts to Phone Lists (Speed Dial or
Private ID) or use that contact information to "Send a
Message".
Need to find a contact quickly? Type part of the last
name, first name, or company name into the Quick
Find dialog box and click go to perform a quick
search. Advanced Search also allows you to search by
phone number, address or category.
