8.2 SIP Trunk

1 Select SIP Trunk (VoIP).
2 Machine ID - Leave this field at
default. This preconfigured
name identifies the X6004.
3 Group Name and Description -
Name this connection. Use
alphanumeric characters;
spaces are not allowed. The
Description is optional.
4 Authentication - Fill in the
username and password exactly
as they were provided by your
ITSP.
5 Enter the information provided
by your ITSP. Keep the default
settings if your ITSP did not provide
some information. If you have a SIP
account like 1234567@VoIP-
provider.com, the Phone# is
1234567, and the SIP Service
Domain is VoIP-provider.com.
6 Select On in the Caller ID section to
allow the people you call to see your
phone number.
After creating your external connection,
you can continue with step
