2. Install the washer and nut, and
then tighten the nut to the speci-
fied torque.
Tightening torque:
Passenger seat nut:
13 N·m (1.3 kgf·m, 9.4 lb·ft)
Rider seat (XVS650H)
To remove the rider seat
1. Remove the passenger seat.
2. Remove the seat holder by remov-
ing its bolts, and then pull the rider
seat up.

To install the rider seat
1. Insert the projection on the front of
the rider seat into the seat holder
as shown, and then place the seat
in the original position.

2. Install the seat holder by installing
its bolts.
3. Install the passenger seat.
TIP
Make sure that the seats are properly
secured before riding.

To remove the passenger seat
Remove the nut and washer, and then
pull the passenger seat up.
