Bridge Spanning Tree Configuration Options
Command Syntax and Usage
no spanningtree stp <1‐128> bridge maximumage
Resets the bridge maximum age to its default value of 20 seconds.
Command mode: Global configuration
spanningtree stp <1‐128> bridge priority <0‐65535>
Configures the bridge priority. The bridge priority parameter controls which
bridge on the network is the STG root bridge. To make this switch the root
bridge, configure the bridge priority lower than all other switches and bridges
on your network. The lower the value, the higher the bridge priority. Enter the
value in multiples of 4096. Non‐multiples are automatically rounded up to the
closest valid priority.
The default value is 32768.

no spanningtree stp <1‐128> bridge priority
Resets the bridge priority to its default value of 32768.

show spanningtree [vlan <VLAN ID (1‐4094)>] bridge
Displays the current Spanning Tree parameters either globally or for a specific
VLAN. See page
