Command Syntax and Usage
[no] logging synchronous [level {<0‐7>|all}]
Enables or disables synchronous logging messages. When enabled, logging
messages are displayed synchronously.
The level parameter sets the message severity level. Messages with a severity
level equal to or higher than this value are displayed asynchronously. Low
numbers indicate greater severity. The all option displays all messages
asynchronously, regardless the severity level.
The default setting is 2.
Command mode: Global configuration
show logging [messages] [severity <0‐7>] [reverse]
[|{include|exclude|section|begin|head <1‐2000>|
|last <1‐2000>}]
Displays the current syslog settings, followed by the most recent 2000 syslog
messages.
messages displays the most recent 2000 syslog messages only
severity displays syslog messages of the specified severity level
reverse displays syslog messages starting with the most recent message
| displays syslog messages that match one of the following filters:
• include displays syslog messages that match the specified expression
• exclude displays syslog messages that don't match the specified
expression
• section displays syslog messages that match the specified section
• begin displays syslog messages beginning from the first message that
matches the specified expression
• head displays the oldest syslog messages for the specified value
• last displays the most recent syslog messages for the specified value
