Installing the Optional Feature Expander
Caution: Unplug the machine before installing the Feature Expander.
In this machine a" FEATURE EXPANDER TYPE 100 2M" or " FEATURE
EXPANDER TYPE 100 4M" can be added to increase the available fax
memory. Install it as illustrated below.
Insert the feature expander into the
slot on the rear cover.
NOTE: Looking at the machine from
the rear (see diagram), the
printed side of the expander
should be facing away from
you.
Put on the expander cover.
Adjusting Monitor Volume
There are 4 monitor settings that control the volume of the internal speaker
during different operations: TRANS (transmit), RECV (receive), ONHOOK
(On-hook dial) and DIAL. To change these settings:
Press the Function key and
6,2,2,2,2,8,2 using the ten keypad, then
press the Yes key.
Edit the volume by:
Pressing the

Repeat step 2 for each adjustment that
appears on the screen.
Press the Function key to finish.
