Guide
Connecting to the GbE2 Interconnect Switch
You can access the command line interface in one of the following ways:
•
Using a console connection via the console port
•
Using a Telnet connection over the network
•
Using a Secure Shell (SSH) connection to securely log in over a network
Establishing a Console Connection
To establish a console connection with the GbE2 Interconnect Switch, you need:
•
A null modem cable with a female DB-9 connector (Refer to the HP ProLiant BL
p-Class GbE2 Interconnect Switch User Guide for more information.)
•
An ASCII terminal or a computer running terminal emulation software set to the
parameters shown in the table below
