SELF INSPECTIONS BEFORE OPERATION

Inspect by yourself the vehicle and have regular
maintenance inspections for increased safety and the
prevention of accidents. Regular maintenance
inspections should be performed even if the vehicle has
not been used for a long period of time.
Self inspections before operation should be performed
on a daily basis prior to operating the vehicle.
Inspections of concerned positions of the vehicles.
Brake inspection(the free play of brake free play)
Quantity of brake fluid
The tire air pressure, crack, damage, unusual worn,
metal fragment, stone and other alien material and
the depth of tire home.
Engine oil(quantity, the leakage)
Quantity of gasoline
Lights and winker inspection
Back mirror inspection(contamination or damage)
Throttle grip operation inspection
Engine starting
Low speeding or accelerating
INSPECTION OF SUSPICIOUS
AREA OF THE VEHICLE WHEN
DRIVING IN THE PREVIOUS DAY
Are there any suspicious area of the vehicle in the
previous day ?
If yes, be sure to get the inspection and after repair, to
ride the vehicle.

BRAKE INSPECTION

BRAKE LEVER FREE PLAY
The proper free play of the brake lever shall be
necessary.
Lightly squeeze the brakes levers until the tension is felt
to check for an appropriate amount of free play. No
free play in the brake levers or overly loose brake levers
are indication of a problem in the brake system.

Specified brake lever free play must
be maintained. Excessive free play
may cause long braking distance,
brake operation faulty and slow
reacting time resulting in the
dangerous situation and insufficient
free play may cause short braking
distance
system(pad, lining, etc)
CHECK OF BRAKE FLUID OF FRONT /
REAR BRAKE
This is checked by placing the vehicle on its main stand
on a flat surface place. Make sure that the handle bars
are at a horizontal level. Check to see if the fluid is
below the LOWER level.
If brake fluid is significantly low, this may indicate that
there is leakage in the brake system. Inspect the brake
10~20mm
hose to check whether being leaked.
