On condition that the engine is heated, only pressing
●
the starter button gets the vehicle started.
To prevent the battery discharge, do not rotate over
●
5 seconds the starter motor continuously. If the
engine does not start even rotating over 5 seconds,
wait over 10 seconds and next press the starter
button.
CAUTION
When the vehicle overturns, do not
●
operate the starter button right away.
If the short circuit may happened due
to the damage of starter motor cable
surface at the coming out of gasoline,
it may occur burn.
If the short circuit may occur because
●
of the aging of wire protective tube or
electric wire tube and there is a
flammable thing, it may happen fire
accident. Then, please check the
regularly checking of the vehicle.
When the engine gets cold, please maintain the
●
vehicle for a moment at the engine started, and get
the engine warm.
WARNING
When getting on and starting the
●
vehicle, grip the brake lever and
maintain braking.
If, on conditioned not gripping the brake
lever, unintentionally grip the throttle or
the cable is not being returned because
of freezing or corrosion of the cable, the
vehicle may suddenly start that results in
the rider's damage by the collision.
At the vehicle being cold, the emission
●
gas may include harmful component
like CO, etc. Because of this, the engine
operation in a place being sealed may
lose him/her consciousness.
<Tips at starting the vehicle at seriously cold
season>
Stand the vehicle up surely by the main stand.

moment, do not rotate the throttle grip).
Start the engine. If it does not start, repeat 2~3 times

cover over the vehicle or placing it
indoor are better for starting.
In case of engine oil, the oil for cold

season is recommendable(SAE 0W-
5W, etc).
<Tips for starting in the strong electricity place>
If the vehicle does not start in the strong electricity
●
place, put the Smart key near antenna position(center
cover) and start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not
start, move the vehicle or putting the Smart key near
(ON).
