General
Mira products are precision-engineered and should give continued superior and safe
performance, provided:
1. They are installed, commissioned, operated and maintained in accordance
with the recommendations stated in this Product Manual.
2. Periodic attention is given as necessary to maintain the product and its
associated installation components in good functional order.
Cleaning
Many household cleaners contain abrasives and chemical substances, and should not
be used for cleaning plated or plastic fittings. These finishes should be cleaned with
a mild washing up detergent or soap solution, and then wiped dry using a soft cloth.
Lubricants
Important: Use silicone-only based lubricants on this product. Do not use oil-
based or other lubricant types as these may cause rapid deterioration of
seals.
Standard silicone-only based lubricants may be used on all static seals, and
threads, to assist refitting (e.g. Rocol MX22).
