Connecting the SIMATIC Box PC 620 via an Adapter
The connecting cable 6ES5 734-2BD20 is supplied with the
SIMATIC Box PC 620. An adapter is available for connecting the programmable
controller using old standard cables.

In order to maintain a data transfer rate of 9600 bps up to a distance of over
1000 m (3300 ft), the receiving diode is connected to ground (reference) via the
connecting cable
Note
You can obtain lengths differing from the standard connecting cable
(6ES5 734-2BD20) under the order number 6ES5 734-2xxx0, whereby xxx stands
for the length code.
