8 Use

8.1 Cleaning hard floors

Danger of injury! You can let the appliance
run unsupervised, however always be care-
ful not to step on it, this could cause you to
fall.

ATTENTION:
Although your cleaning robot recognises
drop-offs, we strongly advise against using
it on furniture and similar objects. It is not
suitable for this type of use.
1. Place the appliance on the floor and
switch it on at the On/Off button (Fig. 23).
Alternatively, you can start the appliance
using the docking station,
The appliance starts the cleaning process.
Both external LEDs flash alternately.
Your robot now cleans with the following
pattern (Fig. 24):

As soon as the appliance encounters an
obstacle, the appliance switches to the
next mode (Fig. 24).
If the appliance has become stuck on an
obstacle, give it a gentle push with your
hand.
When the power of the battery pack is run-
ning low, the battery indicator "
up with constant red light. The following 2
situation may now occur:
- The robot is within range of the dock-
ing station:
The robot will attempt to dock on the
docking station on its own. If it does not
achieve this, intervene,
- The robot is not within range of the
docking station:
The robot beeps every 60 seconds so
that you can find it more easily. (If the
battery pack is completely flat, the beep
function itself will stop.)
You then have 2 options:
- Charge with the power adapter,
