5 Electrical connection
5.1 Notes, Wiring diagram
In the electrical installation, please install a disconnect
switch to separate all poles from the power supply net-
work in accordance with the national regulations.
In rooms with bath or shower, the device must be
installed according to the valid VDE regulations .

Connection only to fixed installed cables! The hard-
wired electrical installation must be provided with a
disconnect device with a contact grap of at least 3
mm at each pole (e.g. automatic circuit breaker)!
ATTENTION!
Before any intervention into the interior of the water
heater, disconnect it from the power supply network!
This intervention may only be performed by a trained
professional!
Before connecting to the power supply network, install
a power supply cord in the water heater, with a min. di-

6 Operation
ATTENTION!
Before connecting it to the power supply, the water
heater must be filled with water. When filling the heater
for the first time, the tap for the hot water on the mixing
tap must be opened.
Check pipework for possible leaks and remove them if
necessary.

The heater is equipped with the "EcoSmart" electronic
regulator, which enables the setting of water tempera-
ture, error diagnostics and smart mode with which you
can reduce the use of electric energy.
6.1 Switching the heater on/off
The water heater can be switched on by holding the
button T1 for about 3 seconds.
By holding the buttonT1 for about 3 seconds again, the
heater goes into standby.
6.2 Operating - manual setting
Temperature is set by pressing button T1 until you get
the desired temperature level (preset temperature level
is 57 °C - ECO Mode).
