Chapter 8: Remote Access
This chapter will show you how to connect your NVR to the Internet. You will learn
how to properly connect your NVR to your router/modem and setup port, Internet,
and mobile configurations along DDNS registration.

8.1 System Requirements

You will need to have the following in order to be able to successfully connect the
NVR to the Internet.
• High-speed Internet connection
• Router or modem with two open Ethernet ports
• Computer with Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, or 10 and Windows
Vista, Windows
• 2x Ethernet cables (1x included with the system; see image below)

8.2 Setup

Learn how to connect the NVR to your router/modem.
