Procedure
Risk of fatal injury due to high voltages
In photovoltaic systems, high voltages and high
currents can occur, even when all specifications are
observed. Attempting to work on the device and live
components at these high voltages and current
strengths can prove fatal. When performing work of
this nature, please note that the photovoltaic
system's solar generator is always active during
daylight hours.
Before starting any work on electrical systems:
Disconnect the system
Ensure that it is secured against being switched
back on
Verify that the system is fully de-energised
Earth and short-circuit the system
Cover or shield any adjacent live components
Risk of injury due to lack of expertise
Installing and commissioning the storage system
requires training, as well as established expertise in
electrical engineering.
Installation, cabling and commissioning must only
be carried out by authorised, trained electricians
1. Disconnect the in-house grid
2. Ensure that the in-house grid is secured against
being switched back on
3. Disconnect the solar generator
4. Ensure that the solar generator is secured against
being switched back on
5. Connect the cables to the terminals on the
connector block (Example for in-house connection,
p. 141)
