HP ProLiant SL165z G6 server has sixteen DIMM slots that support up to 128 GB maximum system
memory.
You must adhere to the following guidelines when adding or replacing memory modules:
Supports DDR2 667 or 800 MHz SDRAM with Advanced ECC (Registered).
Supported configurations:
Two DIMMs per processor: J107, J106 for CPU1; J14, J13 for CPU0.
Four DIMMs per processor: J107, J106, J105, J104 for CPU1; J14, J13, J12, J11 for CPU0.
Six DIMMs per processor: J107, J106, J105, J104, J103, J102 for CPU1; J14, J13, J12,
J11, J10, J9 for CPU0.
Eight DIMMs per processor: J107, J106, J105, J104, J103, J102, J101, J100 for CPU1;
J14, J13, J12, J11, J10, J9, J8, J7 for CPU0.
DIMM pairs must be identical.

To remove memory module:
1.
Completely open the holding clips securing the module.
2.
Gently pull the memory module upward to remove it from the slot.
