Fuses in the dashboard - LHD


Read and observe and
On left-hand drive vehicles, the fuse box is located behind the storage com-
partment in the left-hand section of the dash panel.
Replacing fuses
›
Remove the ignition key, turn off the lights and all electrical consumers.
›
Open the storage compartment
›
Hold the stacker laterally in the region
of arrow (A greater force is required to open)

›
Remove the plastic clip under the cover of the fuse box in the engine room
» fig. 232 on page 198.
›
Use the clip to pull the fuse out, then insert a new fuse.
›
Return the clip to its original place.
›
Close the storage compartment by pushing in the direction of arrow

Read and observe
In right-hand drive, the fuse box is located on the passenger side behind the
storage compartment.
Fold down the storage compartment and replace the fuse
›
Remove the ignition key, turn off the lights and all electrical consumers.
›
Insert a screwdriver under the side cover
›
Unlock the cover in the direction of the arrow
›
Push the cover out in the direction of the arrow
›
Open the storage compartment.
›
Insert a screwdriver from the side into the panel in the direction of arrow
›
Using the screwdriver, unlock the brake rod
in the direction of arrow
›
Remove the storage compartment in the direction of the arrow
›
Remove the plastic clip under the cover of the fuse box in the engine room

›
Use the clip to pull the fuse out, then insert a new fuse.
›
Return the clip to its original place.
Fold back the storage compartment
›
Retract the storage compartment stop buffer
» fig. 230.
›
Push in the storage compartment in the opposite direction of the arrow
›
Insert the brake rod and lock it against the arrow
›
Push in the side cover against the direction of the arrow
›
Press the side cover fully against the direction of the arrow

Close the storage compartment.
