Adding BYOD
to the

FortiWiFi unit
Go to User & Device > Device > Device
Definitions.
Add a new device by assigning an Alias
and setting the MAC Address and Device
Type.
The device will now appear on the definitions
list.
Devices not yet added may also appear in
the list. Double-click the entry and enter an
Alias to add it.
Adding schedules for the
use of a BYOD
Go to Firewall Objects > Schedule >
Schedules.
Create a new recurring schedule to suit
your needs. The example schedule, when
included with a security policy, allows users
to access the Internet with their personal
wireless devices over lunch time hours.
