Hand Brake
The hand brake handle should be pulled upward
tightly to avoid the vehicle sliding for oversight.
Please be sure to pull up the hand brake handle
before leaving the vehicle.
In the condition that the ignition switch is on, pull the hand
brake handle, and the parking braking indicator lamp will
light. If you want to use the hand brake, pull the hand brake
handle upward.
If you want to release the hand brake, you can pull
the hand brake handle upward a little, press the
release button on the top of handle and then push
it downwards.
The manual brake works on the rear wheels.
Stepping on the brake pedal while pulling the
manual brake upwards can make the hand brake
pulled easily.
Operation of Manual Transmission
The order of gears is shown in the following figure:

Application/operation methods and precautions:
Step on the clutch pedal completely as shifting
in order to make the transmission input shaft
separated with engine power, and then
operate the shift lever to shift.
The low gear shall be applied as going
downhill or turning, and It is forbidden to make
the vehicle slide with the clutch separated.
When the transmission is shifting up, don't
skip over gears, or else it will affect the service
life of the synchronizer.
Flapping method (that is the operation method
of pushing followed by releasing) is forbidden
as shifting. The shift gear shall be pressed
with hand all the time, which can reduce the
wearing time of the lock ring of synchronizer
and reduce the abrasion.
Don't put your hand on the shift lever as
traveling, or else it will cause too early
abrasion of shift fork.
IF there are abnormal phenomena of
transmission in use such as abnormal sound
and obviously difficult operation, stop the
vehicle at once to for check and continue to
