Network requirements

Configuration procedure
You must configure the DHCPv6 server before configuring the DHCPv6 client. For information about
configuring the DHCPv6 server, see

# Configure GigabitEthernet 2/0/1 to support DHCPv6 rapid prefix assignment. Enable the DHCPv6
client to assign an ID to the obtained IPv6 prefix and create a dynamic DHCPv6 option group for
saving configuration parameters.

Verifying the configuration
