WARNING
Deflector (C) with blade is only approved
for mowing heads.
Mounting the Deflector
All deflectors are mounted to the
gearbox in the same way.

Position deflector (1) or (2) on the
N
gearbox.
Insert the screws (3) and tighten
N
them down firmly.

Fitting the Skirt and Blade

WARNING
These parts must be fitted to the
deflector (1) when you use a mowing
head.
Slide the lower guide slot of the skirt
N
(4) onto the deflector (1) – it must
snap into position.
Push the blade (5) into the upper
N
guide slot on the skirt and line it up
with the first hole.
Insert the screw and tighten it down
N
firmly.
Mounting the Cutting
Attachment
Placing power tool on the ground
Shut off the engine.
N
Lay your power tool on its back so
N
that the cutting attachment
mounting face is pointing up.
Fitting the Thrust Plate
The machine comes standard with the
thrust plate.

Slip the thrust plate (1) over the
N
shaft (2).
NOTICE
The thrust plate on the gearbox is
necessary for mounting cutting tools.
