Activating the childproof
lock
Example:
You can secure your washing machine to prevent
selected functions from being inadvertently changed.
If the childproof lock has been selected:
- No changes can be made while the programme is
running,
- Should the appliance be switched off and on while
a programme is running the programme will
continue at the point at which it was interrupted,
- The door remains locked at the end of the
programme,
- Directly after the appliance is switched on -
provided no programme was active the last time
the appliance was switched off - all control
elements are disabled and the door is locked.
i If the childproof lock is active and the programme
selector is rotated while a programme is running,
the indicator light of the programme selector goes
out. The indicator light illuminates again when the
programme selector is returned to its original
position.
i When a programme has started, you can activate
the childproof lock in Pause" mode only.
q Turn the programme selector to the desired
programme.
q Load the laundry and close the loading door.
The Start/Pause" indicator light flashes (red).
q Press the Menu" button until Child lock: OFF" is
displayed.
The $" symbol flashes.
i The menu is left if a button is not pressed within
10 seconds.
