Gap/Black Mark Calibration, Self-test and Dump Mode
Whilecalibratingthegap/blackmarksensor,theprinterwillmeasurethelabellength,printtheinter
nalconfiguration(self-
test)onalabelandthenenterthedumpmode.Calibratingthegaporblackmarksensordependson
thesensorsettinginthelastprintjob.
To calibrate the sensor:
1. Turnoffthepowerswitch.
2. HoldtheFeedbuttondown,thenturnthepowerswitchON.
3. ReleasethebuttonwhenLEDturnsamberandblinks(anytimeduringthe5blinks).
TheLEDcolorwillchangeinthefollowingsequence:

4. Theprintercalibratesthesensor,measuresthelabellengthandprintsinternalsettingsthen
entersthedumpmode.
Note:SelectgaporblackmarksensorbysendingGAPorBLINEcommandtotheprinterbef
orecalibratingthesensor.
Self-Test
Theprinterwillprinttheprinterconfigurationafteragap/blackmarksensorcalibration.Theself-
testprintoutcanbeusedtocheckifthereisanydotdamageontheheaterelement,printerconfigur
ationsandavailablememoryspace.
