3. Slide the seat all the way back in this position.
To return the seat to the original position:
1. Align the seat so that the rear hooks on the seat
are over the rear floor pins. Push down firmly on
the rear of the seat so that the rear hooks attach to
the rear floor pins.

4. Release the rear set of
seat hooks from the
floor pins by pulling the
nylon strap, located at
the base of the seat.
Use the strap to guide
the seat forward.
2. Try to raise the seat to check that it is locked to
the floor.
3. Pull the nylon strap, located on the rear right hand
side of the seat, or lift the recline lever, located
on the front right hand side of the seatback, to raise
the seatback to the upright position.
CAUTION:
{
If the seatback is not locked, it could move forward
in a sudden stop or crash. That could cause injury
to the person sitting there. Always push and pull on
the seatback to be sure it is locked.
4. Push and pull on the seatback to check that it is
locked.
One of the bucket seats may be equipped with a built-in
child restraint. See Built-In Child Restraint on page 1-67.
