SNMP settings are configured using the menus located on the SNMP V3 folder of the web manager. Workstations on
the network that are allowed SNMP privileged access to the switch can be restricted with the Management Station IP
Address window.

SNMP Global State Settings

The SNMP Global State Settings is used to globally enable or disable the SNMP Settings on the switch.
To view this window, click Configuration > SNMP Settings > SNMP Global State Settings as shown below:

SNMP View Table

This window is used to assign views to community strings that define which MIB objects can be accessed by a remote
SNMP manager.
To view this window, click Configuration > SNMP Settings > SNMP View Table as shown below:
The following parameters can be set:
Parameter
View Name
Subtree OID
View Type
To implement the new settings, click Apply. To delete an entry click the corresponding Delete button.

Description
Type an alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters. This is used to identify the new SNMP
view being created.
Type the Object Identifier (OID) Subtree for the view. The OID identifies an object tree (MIB
tree) that will be included or excluded from access by an SNMP manager.
Select Included to include this object in the list of objects that an SNMP manager can
access. Select Excluded to exclude this object from the list of objects that an SNMP
manager can access.
