Recording
(Basic)
This unit records high definition images that are compatible with the AVCHD format on an SD card or
HDD.
Sound is recorded with the Dolby Digital 5.1 Creator.
≥ Rotate the mode dial while at the same time pressing in the lock release button A if changing from
OFF to another mode.
≥ Align with the status indicator B.

Rotate the mode dial to select

Set the LCD/EVF select switch to
LCD or EVF. (l 35)
≥ Open the LCD monitor when it is set to LCD.

Select the media to record from
the menu. (l 29)
[MEDIA SELECT] # [HDD] or [SD CARD]
≥ You cannot set the recording media for motion
pictures and still pictures separately.

Press the recording start/stop
button to start recording.
≥ While recording is in progress, the recording
will not stop even if the LCD monitor is closed.

Press the recording start/stop
button again to pause recording.
≥ [¥] and [;] are red during recording. Do not
move this unit until [;] is green.
