Transferring recorded messages to another
telephone!
This feature allows your unit to call a designated telephone number each time an incoming voice
message is recorded. You can retrieve the transferred message during the same call using the
remote operation.
To use this feature, program the transfer telephone number first (feature #60 on page 76) and
set the unit to TAD/FAX mode.
1. An incoming voice message is recorded in your unit.
2. Your unit calls the transfer telephone number.
3. Answer the call with the transfer telephone.
4. Your unit will play the transfer greeting message.
This message can be changed (see below).
5. Enter the remote operation ID (feature #11
on page 71).
6. Retrieve the message using the remote operation
(p. 61–63).
Recording your own transfer greeting
The recording time is limited to 16 seconds.
Suggested message: "This is a transferred message from (your name, business and/or
telephone number). Please enter your remote ID for remote operation."
Press p.

Press #, then 61.

Press + or - to select "RECORD".

Press w.

Speak clearly about 20 cm (8 inches) away

The display will show the remaining
recording time.

When finished recording, press {.

The unit will repeat your message. Adjust
the volume using + or -.

1. Press p, #61.
2. Press + or - to select "CHECK".
3. Press w.
The unit will play the message.
4. Press p.
To erase your own transfer greeting
message
1. Press p, #61.
2. Press + or - to select "ERASE".
3. Press w.
Your own message will be erased.
4. Press p.
When transferring a call, the pre-recorded
transfer greeting message will be played.
