AUX 8 - WAYPOINT PROJECTION

The NAV 5000 can calculate the latitude and longitude of a remote
destination based on a relative distance and bearing that you enter.
Press AUX, 8, and ENTER
(or press AUX once and the
RIGHT ARROW eight
ti mes).
You can use POS or press
the RIGHT ARROW to
display a waypoint.
Press ENTER to accept
the displayed position. The
display moves to the
distance message.
Key in the estimated
distance. Remember that
the display is a fixed
decimal; add trailing
zeroes as necessary.
