2 Traffic Policing and Traffic Shaping Configuration
By default, the rate for traffic shaping in an interface queue is the maximum bandwidth of the
interface. For example, the rate for traffic shaping on an Ethernet interface is 100000 kbit/s, and
the rate for traffic shaping on a GE interface is 1000000 kbit/s.

Context
The flow-based traffic statistics cannot be restored after you clear them. So, confirm the action
before you use the command.

The display qos queue statistics command cannot be used on G24SA or G24CA boards.

Run the display traffic policy statistics { global | interface interface-type interface-
number | vlan vlan-id } { inbound | outbound } [ verbose { classifier-base | rule-base }
[ class class-name ] ] command to check the flow-based traffic statistics.
Run the display qos car statistics { interface-type interface-number { inbound |
outbound } | vlan vlan-id { broadcast | multicast | unknown } } command to check the
statistics on passed and discarded packets on a specified interface or in a VLAN after QoS
CAR is applied.
Run the display qos queue statistics interface-type interface-number command to check
the queue-based traffic statistics on the specified interface in the outbound direction.
