Error message
The Status Display
does not appear when
printing a document.
There was an error
writing to LPT1: for the
printer (Panasonic
KX-P8410):
There was a problem
sending your document
to the printer. Make sure
the printer cable is
connected and the
printer is online. To
continue printing, click
retry. Windows will
automatically retry after
5 seconds
There was an error
writing to KXP8410GDI:
for the printer
(Panasonic KX-P8410):
The printer is not ready.
Make sure it is turned
on and online. To
continue printing, click
retry. Windows will
automatically retry after
5 seconds
Unable to Allocate
Memory!!
Some application settings may take priority over the printer driver settings.
Possible cause
The Status Display
function is not active
Cable connection is
improper or the printer
is not ready.
BCable connection is
improper or the
printer is not ready.
BThe terminator
setting is improper.
The memory for
printing is insufficient.
Recovery
Follow the procedure
below to make the setting
active.
1. Click Start, select
Settings, then click
Printers.
2. Click the Panasonic
KX-P8410 printer icon.
3. Click the File menu,
then click Properties.
4. Click Details tab and
Spool settings....
5. Click Enable bi-
directional support for
this printer, then click
OK.
Connect the printer
(parallel cable) correctly or
make the printer ready.
Perform the following
procedure.
1. Confirm that the
terminator is correctly
set.
2. Confirm that the printer
is ready.
3. Confirm that the printer
is correctly connected
with a SCSI cable.
4. Turn off the computer,
then turn it on again.
BClose all applications
except for the one which
controls the printer, then
print it again.
BTurn off the computer,
then turn it on again.
Print the document
again.
