• When the shutter button is halfway
pressed, the difference (ranging from
-3.0 to +3.0 EV) between the exposure
determined by the currently selected
aperture and shutter speed compared to
the exposure level considered optimal
by the camera is displayed.
• If the exposure differential appears in
red, it indicates that the exposure
differential is less than -3.0 EV or more
than +3.0 EV.
TIPS
• When AE lock is registered to the
custom button and you press the
x button, the screen on the right
appears with the bar indicating the
current exposure differential.
Note
• To avoid camera movement, you are recommended to use a tripod when taking
pictures requiring a slow shutter speed.
• The shutter speeds that can be set vary depending on the aperture value.
