Using Your Machine as a Relay Initiating
Station
Your machine can act as the relay initiating station, which
starts the relay broadcast by sending the original documents.
Before you program your machine to initiate a relay
broadcast, you must have the information listed below.

Relay Password

Relay Group Numbers

Relay Key Station (Hub) number
Contact number for Relay Broadcast Report
Get the relay password, the relay group numbers, and the
relay key station (hub) number from the relay key station
(hub) operator.
The contact number for the relay broadcast report is the
number of the relay initiating station, programmed to a
special location and in the format used by the relay key
station (hub).

Relay Password
This is the 4-digit relay password that is programmed into the

relay key station (hub).

Relay Group Numbers
These 2-digit numbers are the numbers of groups of locations
programmed into the relay key station (hub).
Relay Key Station (Hub)
The relay key station (hub) is the fax unit that receives the
original fax message and then automatically relays or
broadcasts the message to other remote fax machines.
For this feature to be available, the relay key station (hub)
must be an OKIFAX 2600, OKIFAX 5750/5950 Series, or an
OKIFAX 5980 fax machine.
