Transmission troubleshooting

Transmission fails; a communication error occurs.
Are the IP ADDRESS, SubNetMask and Default Gateway settings
correct?
Has the SMTP server been configured correctly?
Has the host name been registered?
If using DNS, is the DNS server address correct?
Check to make sure that the server is not down.
If DNS is ON, some servers may cause an error.
When one-touch key is pressed with an email address assigned, a warning
message appears on the LCD.
Has an e-mail address been entered that has been assigned on this
machine?
LCD shows message "OPTION BOARD ERROR".
A network card I/F error has occurred - turn the power off and on
again to recover.
