Making a trial printing for only one copy ([Proof then Print])

Proof then Print

Proof then Print is a function that makes prints by only one copy and holds the remaining copies when print-
ing multiple copies.
Because you can check the print result before starting to print the remaining copies from the Control Panel,
this function is useful for preventing printing of a large number of misprints.
Tips
This function is available when an optional Hard Disk is installed.

How to print from the computer

In [Job Retention] of the [Basic] tab, select [Proof then Print].

Specify the number of copies, then execute printing.
Only one copy is printed. Continue to "Operations on this machine".

Operations on this machine

Press the Menu/Select key.

Select [PROOF PRINT].

Select the user name.

Select the job name.

Select [PRINT].
% To delete a job, select [DELETE].

If necessary, change the number of copies, then press the Menu/Select key to start printing.
