Replacing the display assembly

Procedure

1 Replace the rubber
2 Slide the tabs on the display assembly into the slots on the display-
assembly base.
3 Replace the display-assembly base on the display assembly.
4 Replace the screws that secure the display-assembly base to the display
assembly.
5 Route the optical-drive data cable, touch-board cable, display-backlight
cable, hard-drive cables and control-buttons board cable through the
routing guides on the display-assembly base.
6 Connect the touch-screen board cable and display-panel power cable to
their connectors on the display-assembly base.
7 Align the screw holes on the VESA-mount bracket with the screw holes
on the display-assembly base.
8 Replace the screws that secure the VESA-mount bracket to the display-
assembly base.

Post-requisites

1 Replace the system
