Smart Button Sensor Removal

1. Remove the toner cartridge.
2. Remove the gear train assembly. See
Removal" on page 4-42
3. Remove the two screws and the bracket coupling assembly.
4. For additional clearance, remove the charge roll. See
Roll Removal" on page 4-25
5. Remove the screw holding the smart button sensor [A].
6. Remove the two screws in the cable cover retainer.
7. Remove the sensor by pushing from inside the printer.
Note: Unplug the thermistor cable to remove the smart button
sensor.
