the
Motor
flange
assembly

daisy
wheel
present
and
the daisy
motor
latched
in
the
forward
position,
check
for a clearance
of
0.007
inch
to
0.02 inch
(0.2 to 0.6
mm)
between
the surface
of the
motor
flange
and
the
innermost
surface
of the
daisy
wheel
case.

to

(Front View), with
a
daisy
wheel
installed,
turn the printer
on
and
allow
it
to
complete
its
initialization
sequence.
Check
to
see that
the
"period"
on
the daisy
wheel
is
positioned
directly in
front
of the
hammer
unit.

:
Turn
printer
power on and
allow
it
to
complete
its
initializa-
tion
sequence.
Loosen
the
two motor
flange setscrews
and
adjust
as
necessary.
(2)
For
Check
2:
Loosen
the setscrew
which
holds the
selection
sensor unit
and
adjust
it
from
left
to
right as
necessary.
These
two
adjustments
are interrelated,
it
may
be
necessary to re-check
each
several
time.
