Refer to Fig. 6.5,
check for a slight
amount
of backlash
between
the
Ribbon
motor
gear
and
the
Clutch
gear.
(1)
Loosen
the
two Ribbon motor
fixing
screws
and
adjust
the position of
the
motor
to allow
a
slight
amount
of backlash.
When
the
adjustment
is
complete,
check
that
the backlash
is
not
excessive,
too
much
backlash
may
cause
premature clutch gear
failure.
