PREPARATION FOR SERvIcE

6.1 Warnings

Before performing the operations
described below, make sure that
the installed bipolar switch is in
the off position.

6.2 Sequence of the operations

Gas supply
• Open the cock for the gas meter and for the
boiler 5 in Figure 6.1.

• Check for leaks in the gas fitting using a
soapy solution or an equivalent product.
• Reclose the gas cock 5 in Figure 6.2.

Filling the heating system
• Remove the front panel on the body, see sec-
tion "Removing the body panels" on page
59.
• Open the installed system cocks
• Open one or more hot water cocks to bleed
the pipes.
• Loosen the automatic bleed valve cap 27 in
Figure 6.3.

• Open the radiator cocks.
