Section 3 - Configuration
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a widely used network monitoring and control protocol that reports activity on each
network device to the administrator of the network. SNMP can be used to monitor traffic and statistics of the DWR-161. The DWR-161
supports SNMP v1 or v2c.

SNMP

Select Enabled to allow local SNMP
administration. Select Disabled to
disallow local SNMP administration.
Select Enabled to allow local SNMP
administration. Select Disabled to
disallow local SNMP administration.
Enter the password public in this
field to allow "Read only" access to
network administration using SNMP.
You can view the network, but no
configuration is possible with this
setting.
Enter the password private in this
field to gain "Read and Write" access to the network using SNMP software.
Enter up to four IP addresses of any trap targets on your network.
Select the SNMP version of your system.
Click Save Settings to save your changes, or click Don't Save Settings to discard your changes.
