ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
ASSEMBLY MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
ADULTS. TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE
VEHICLE FROM ITS PACKAGING. ALL THE
SCREWS AND SMALL PARTS ARE CONTAINED IN
A BAG INSIDE THE PACKAGING. THE BATTERY
MAY ALREADY BE FITTED INSIDE THE ITEM.
Do not use the toy if you find it damaged after
opening the packaging. Contact the shop where you
bought it or the customer support centre.
Take care in the presence of children while
assembling the toy, given the risks caused by small
parts (ingestion hazard) and the plastic bags that
contain them (choking hazard).
To assemble the toy, you will need a flat-head
screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, and a
pair of pliers.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Insert the two windscreen tabs into the slots on
the bonnet. Turn the windscreen in the direction
of the arrow.
2 • Fasten the windscreen using the two screws
supplied.
3 • Join the two parts of the steering wheel.
4 • Insert the horn in the central hole in the steering
wheel following the instructions in its packaging.
5 • Apply sticker No. 6. Insert the steering wheel
onto the steering rod as shown in the figure.
6 • Fix the steering wheel using the screw and bolt
supplied, taking care to insert the screw into the
round hole and the bolt in the hexagonal hole.
7 • Insert the toy key in its slot in the dashboard.
8 • Apply sticker No. 2. Install the bumper by
inserting the lower tabs into the two slots on
the body first and then by fitting the two upper
bushes.
9 • Fasten the bumper using the two screws
supplied.
10 • Loosen the knobs underneath the seats. Place
the seats aligning them with the holes according
to the child's height. The vehicle has 2 positions
(see diagram). Fasten the seats to the bases by
means of the previously loosened knobs.
11 • Remove the protective covers from the axle.
Insert the 2 wheels from both sides of the axle,
fitting them to the gear motors and paying
attention to the direction of the tread.
12 • For every side of the axle, insert 1 small metal
washer, and a nut, in this sequence. Tighten the 2
wheels simultaneously using the tool provided
and helping yourself with a pair of pliers. Press
the 6 hubcaps into place.
13 • Join the spring and the red lock as shown in the
figure. Lift the piston and insert the red hook in
the upper part, as shown in the figure.
14 • Align the caisson holes with the piston holes.
Insert the pin, making sure that the hole for the
screw is aligned with the one for the caisson.
15 • Fasten the caisson using the screw provided.
16 • Install the caisson closure by inserting one end
first and then the other and pressing until they fit
into place.
17 • Turn the caisson upside-down. Press the 2
spacers into place, as shown in the figure.
18 • Position the caisson you just assembled at the
rear of the vehicle, making sure the holes are
aligned.
19 • Lock the caisson in the rear part by inserting the
two pins shown in the figure until the lock snaps
into place (detail A: correct position of the right-
hand pin).
20 • Keep the piston lifted. Place the caisson carefully
into its support.
21 • Keep the caisson in position and tighten the 2
screws on the inner part.
22 • Loosen the battery compartment safety screw.
23 • Remove the tabs on the sides pulling them
outwards.
24 • Lower the entire front unit.
25 • Connect the two system/battery terminals. The
vehicle is ready for use.
FEATURES AND USE OF THE VEHICLE
26 • A: HORN. The horn sounds by pressing the
yellow central part.
B: TOY-KEY. This is a toy key and will not activate
the vehicle.
C: HANDLE. This handle is for the passenger's
extra safety during the use of the vehicle.
27 • CUP HOLDER. The vehicle is equipped with two
cup and can holders on the two front
mudguards.
28 • ELECTRIC ACCELERATOR/BRAKE PEDAL. Lift
the foot from the pedal to engage the brake
automatically.
29 • The tip-up caisson can hold objects for a
maximum weight of 30 kg. To tip the caisson,
release the lock by pulling the red ring and lift.
30 • The caisson has a backboard, which you can
open by pressing the central handle.
31 • GEAR LEVER. The gear lever has three positions.
Press the lever down to activate the reverse
gear; pull it up to activate the second gear.
WARNING! Only first and reverse gear work
when the vehicle has just been taken out from its
package. See steps 32 and 33 to activate the
second gear.
32 • Loosen the safety screw to unlock the second
gear.
33 • Fit second gear block into the second hole as
shown in the figure. Now you can use the
second gear too. If you do not want your child
to use second gear, place second gear block into
the first hole.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
PLEASE NOTE: THE PICTURES OF THE BATTERIES
ARE FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. YOUR
BATTERY MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE MODEL
SHOWN. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE
REPLACEMENT AND CHARGING PROCEDURES
DESCRIBED.
34 • Open the battery compartment as shown in
figures 22-24.
Disconnect the two terminals by pressing on
their sides.
35 • Remove the battery and replace it with a new
one.
36 • Reconnect terminals A and B and close the
battery compartment.
37 • WARNING! Remember to fasten the battery
compartment door with the screw.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
WARNING: BATTERY CHARGING AND EVERY
OTHER OPERATION ON THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY ADULTS
ONLY.
THE BATTERY CAN ALSO BE CHARGED
WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
38 • Disconnect the wiring unit terminal A from
battery terminal B, pressing on the sides.
39 • Insert the battery charger terminal into a
domestic power socket following the instructions
attached. Connect terminal B and battery
charger terminal C.
40 • Once the battery is charged, remove the battery
charger from the domestic socket, and then
disconnect terminal C from terminal B. Insert
battery terminal B into terminal A, pushing until
it clicks into place. Once completing all the
operations, remember to close and secure the
battery compartment door.
